"Star Wars – Kanan: The Last Padawan" comic series was announced today at New York Comic Con. This new series will launch in April of 2015. Former Executive Producer of Star Wars Rebels, Greg Wiseman (Gargoyles, Young Justice), "will helm the title," and Pepe Larraz (The Mighty Thor, Wolverine & The X-men) will be doing the artwork.The marvel.com article "NYCC 2014: STAR WARS – KANAN: THE LAST PADAWAN" also gives a few tidbits of information about the title from an interview with Wiseman.
"The tone is slightly darker than the television series because it covers an extremely dark time. But from my point of view, nothing has changed, and the tone I’m always going for is that of Episodes IV and V."
