This rearing, 23 days after initial broadcast, and the release of the DVD and digital copy, had impressive viewer total. Oh course, many of the viewers may have already seen the episode, and were just waiting to see Darth Vader. The premiere on the Disney Channel on October 3, 2014 had just 300,000 more viewers with 2.7 million US viewers.
At the time of this article, the ratings for Monday night's airing of "Rise of the Old Masters" had not been released by TV By The Numbers. I inquired about the ratings in the comments, as a couple of others had previously done.
