Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer debuted today in select theatres in the United States and online.  The trailer features several familiar elements of Star Wars, including Stormtroopers, X-wings, Tie Fighters, The Millennium Falcon, and some of John Williams' classic Star Wars music.

We see that Rebels and The Empires forces are still at odds.  We will have to wait and see if any of the Rebels or other characters featured in Star Wars Rebels have any impact on The Force Awakens.


The teaser features a few things that had been revealed in leaked set photos from earlier this year posted by TMZ, from the filming location in Abu Dhabi.

The teaser also confirms several rumors that have been reported about various elements of the new film.  Photos of the new Stormtrooper helmets were tweeted by the 501st in August of this year.
