Roge One Earned $71 Million at the Box Office by Friday

Since the Thursday night preview showings, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story earned has earned an estimated $71 Million, at the U.S. box office, according to Box Office Mojo.  The Thursday night total was $29 Million, which would make the Friday total equal to $42 million.

Box Office Mojo is estimating that the film could earning just under $160 million, in its opening weekend.  If this estimate is correct, Rogue One may have a chance at having the tenth highest grossing opening weekend of all time,  Currently, the tenth spot is held by The Dark Night with $158,411,483.
