Rogue One Grossed $29 Million Thursday Night

According to Box Office Mojo, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story earned "$29 million" in Thursday previews, and this box office haul ranks "as the seventh largest preview gross of all-time."

Rogue One is fantastic film, and it will gross hundreds of millions of dollars.  Hopefully, Lucasfilm and Disney have realistic expectations for this first non-episodic Star Wars film.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens that broke the Thursday preview record, with $57 million, last year.  However, there was so such a high level of anticipation from Star Wars fans after waiting thirty two years for a sequel to Return of the Jedi.
